Osteopathic Treatment for Pre/Postnatal Mothers, Babies And Children
I’m Juliet Hartis – an osteopath, naturopath and mum to a bright and bouncy 4 year old. I’ve been seeing patients for over 10 years and further pursued my love of helping mums and babies by studying a 2 year post-graduate diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London.
Osteopathy is a form of hands-on treatment that aims to improve the movement and function of your body and to reduce areas of tension and pain. Approaches I use to achieve this can include massage and stretching of muscles, mobilisation or manipulation of joints and a very gentle form of treatment known as Cranial Osteopathy.
Treatment will often include advice on exercises and lifestyle changes to reduce stress on your body. These suggestions will help to speed your recovery and reduce further relapses.
Osteopathy is all about helping you to achieve a better state of balance within your body, so that it can function at its optimum – pain free, better mobility, more energy and a greater sense of well-being.
Who & What Do Osteopaths Treat?
Osteopaths treat people of all ages, from new born babies and pregnant mothers to the elderly. Treatments are tailored on an individual patient basis, varying the techniques used as appropriate to the patient’s age, health and presenting condition.
The treatment approach used with babies and young children is mostly Cranial Osteopathy which is gentle, safe and effective and can be applied to any part of the body.
Patients seek treatment for a very wide range of conditions so please phone 07710995507 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are wondering whether osteopathy is right for you.
